The "Maintenance Alerts" feature reports any item that is coming due in the very near future. Maintenance Alerts are not intended to be used as a planning tool, but rather as a "safety net" - just to make sure that nothing is over flown. The Alerts Report can be run for one aircraft or a group of aircraft.

• By default, Maintenance Alerts reports any item for a particular aircraft that will be due within the next 14 days, 14 hours, or 14 cycles, but the intervals may be customized on an aircraft-by-aircraft basis
• Maintenance Alerts looks at both scheduled maintenance items and deferred maintenance items.
• Flight schedules are constantly changing, and "pop up" trips sometimes ruin the best of intentions when it comes to maintenance planning. Maintenance Alerts helps make sure that an item is not inadvertently over flown.
